There is a special kind of stillness that only comes with a crisp October morning. It’s in the way steam rises from a warm mug, the scent of cinnamon in the cool air, and the vibrant burnt-orange palette God uses to paint the world outside our windows. Autumn feels like His gentle reminder of how beautiful it can be to let things go- and how abundant the harvest truly is.
When I painted these stacked coffee cups, I was thinking of the “plentiful harvest” in Luke 10:2. Fall isn’t just a change in season to me; it’s a reflection of God’s abundance and the work He is doing in our lives and through us for His kingdom.
My hope is that this piece invites you to slow down. Imagine a quiet fall morning, a warm cup in your hands, and a moment to sit with God and take in the beauty of the season. The harvest is ready, and there is so much goodness to soak in.
